MTA Manhole Protector effectively prevents unpleasant odours form escaping the sewer system. Thanks to installation in the bottom area of the manhole the structure is effectively protected against corrosion by aggressive gases. Rainwater entering through the manhole cover can flow into the sewer system in a controlled manner via a self-opening ball valve.
The specifically devloped cover made of durable, acid and alkali resistant PE material has been registered for patent approval. A special folding system allows the introduction and installation without prior nowledge. The MTA SP 1000 is practically maintenance free. If necessary it can be removed from the manhole via the preassembled transport handles and easily be cleaned. The MTA SP 1000 is applicable in a very wide range of municipal and industrial manhole structures.
